The Land

The gorgeous Embudo river valley is a verdant slice of paradise. The area is graced by a temperate climate generated by the local topography, canyon walls and ancestral system of Acequia waterways dating back to the 1700’s brining life to heirloom orchards, vineyards and farms.

The Community

A diverse and tight knit community made up of farmers, artists, historians, outdoor enthusiasts and recreationalists. There are 4 wineries, a brewery, galleries, farmers markets and iconic seasonal festivals where locals and visitors love to gather, including the beloved Dixon Studio Tour, one of the oldest art tours in New Mexico. There are 5 Ski Resorts in the area, several hot springs, and the Rio Grande Del Norte National Monument, offering endless hiking, mountain biking, boating, fishing and exploring.

Dixon is 40 minutes from Taos and 40 minutes from Santa Fe. There are 4 airports within an hour and half of Dixon offering direct flights to: Albuquerque, Austin, Dallas, Denver, LA, Las Vegas, San Diego and anywhere else in the world.
